This is a rock and roll band. Pure and simple. Hard, fast moving yet delicate enough to enjoy and understand. This isn't an angry band that you won't relate too. On the contrary, GF sings about life in the real world. Sometimes that is about a difficult subject, a controversial topic, or something that has affected them personally. Guy Franklin frontman Frankie Gump is the bands lyricist, and Frankie tends to write about subject matters that he has personally experienced.
Frankie states "I seem to write messages that apply to me, now and in the future". He goes on to say "it is as if I am writing for myself". They hope that you can relate to their experiences. The all original music performed by this group of experienced musicians features veteran frontman Frankie Gump, whose lyrical abilities are described as profound, along with his melodic rock vocal harmonies that pump you up and make you feel alive. This year’s line up includes the guitar mastery of veteran rocker Kevin Kyle who continues to push and define the limits of his craft. Kevin’s guitar work pays tribute to the style of the late great Randy Rhoads. The line up is rounded out with the thunderous percussion work of Brandon Bussard, whose heart pounding drum work drives the sound, complimented by the earth shaking bass guitar work of Mario Young.
